Advice needed on cleaning crew services

New host here, looking for some advice on cleaning crew services. I'm currently vetting a few options and want to make sure I'm asking the right questions to find a good fit.

What's typically included in a standard clean? Do most crews handle restocking consumables like coffee, soap, and paper towels, or is that something I should expect to manage myself? And what about trash from previous guest? Like is that always part of their job? I've also seen some cleaners offer linen service for an extra fee. Is this a common add-on, or is handling laundry usually part of the base price?

Any other things I should consider? Thanks for any insights!

In my experience or at least just based on what I know, most standard crews handle trash and basic reset, but restocking consumables is usually on you unless you arrange it. Linen service is almost always an add-on, so budget for that separately.

@str_qu44d Hey, welcome to hosting! Hah, yeah, what @tungtungsahur said lines up with my experience too. Standard clean usually covers trash, basic surfaces, and reset, but things like coffee, soap, and extra linens are almost always separate. Definitely clarify that up front so you’re not surprised. Do you have a couple of crews you’re leaning toward already?
